The
lens is placed into the frame, which is then placed into the scanning
device where a pointer traces the inside of the frame rim. The shape
is then shown on a screen which allows the operator to specify optical
centres & seg heights (bifocal lenses). A plastic block is attached
to the lens by a double sided sticky pad, ensuring the the dots are
level to the horizon. |
